Music has held court for many cultures for thousands of years. It has brought both joy and solace to the souls of many. In fact, music is considered a universal language. If it isn't a regular part of your life, considering adding it. Whether processing pain and grief or maintaining focus and energy, music may very well be our best form of therapy.
Dis-ease of the mind leads to disease of the body. Giving your mind time to unwind is an important part of your overall well-being. Without it your body will give out, probably much sooner than if you had taken the time to slow down.
Sex is good for you or so they say! Who are "they"? Those that should know. The entire medical community proudly proclaims "sex 2 to 3 times a week has enough health benefits to be well worth your time."
There was a time when people were afraid to talk about their feelings, their deepest innermost thoughts. What if you were put away? Institutionalized? And so, people kept those emotions locked away. But they always surface. We've learned the hard way it is better to process them in a healthy way than to endure the consequences of not.
